MASSACHUSETTS: South Shore is now dealing with a "new" issue... discrimination!

OFF THE WIRE
Now happening here in MA!!

Ok folks... South Shore is now dealing with a "new" issue... discrimination! Pub owners are telling riders who wear colors that they're being pressured by police not to let patch holders into their establishments. They claim there is an ordinance in place that backs this up.

Here's what I received.... so just a heads up .... and stay tuned to what happens next. Because if it's happening here on the South Shore, it'll happen on the North Shore, and then other states as well!

Dear Fellow motorcycle right activists.
On Wednesday night I was asked if I knew anyone in legal field who could help out with advice on biker discrimination. I meet with a number of groups for an informal talk about some concerns in the South shore/ Boston area. There seems to be a new trend in some towns concerning motorcycle colors in area pubs. Some bar owners are telling us that the local police are pressuring the owners of tavern to not allow patch holders in their establishments. They are even going so far as to telling the owners that there is a town ordinance not allowing colors in bars? Also there are many local hang outs now with no color signs posted.
I was asked to see if I could obtain any info to help put a stop to this practice.  Any help or references would be greatly appreciated. I am to meet again in four weeks with representatives from various groups in our area. These are groups from all ilk’s.
Some are sport riders, Harley clubs, Christian clubs, and military/veteran clubs, etc…
They are all concerned with this strong arm tactic to discriminate against bikers.
Sincerely
James “Aff” Aftosmes
