Canada - HELLS ANGELS TO GATHER IN NANAIMO FOR ZEKE RUN

OFF THE WIRE

canada.com
Nanaimo RCMP are gearing up for Saturday, when dozens of Hells Angels members are expected to gather in the city for the Zeke Run.
The 18th staging of the ride recognizes the spring anniversary of the disappearance of local club member Edward "Zeke" Mickle, who vanished in May 1993.
Last year, undercover police, including specialists with the Vancouver-based outlaw motorcycle gang unit, photographed dozens of bikers from chapters across B.C. as they arrived to join the ride.
The ride traditionally leaves Nanaimo around noon from the defunct clubhouse on a round-trip to Victoria. Bikers are expected to party in Nanaimo after the trip.
Nanaimo RCMP are not expecting problems but are aware of the ride and will be monitoring activities. Police reported no major issues last year.
