Man Chases Own Motorcycle Down The Highway
Police? My motorcycle's been stolen and ... there it is!
Bike passes by man and friends as they return from reporting it stolen, and they give chase..
A man from San Diego spotted his custom made motorcycle, that he just reported stolen, on his way back home. Lawrence Howard thought that his custom chopper, a Triumph motorcycle, was gone for good. His bike was stolen on Sunday, while Howard was visiting a few friends.
Two friends of Howard gave him a lift back home, and that is when they spotted the stolen motorcycle. Howard says that he spotted the bike as soon as they were merging on the highway. The two friends and Howard followed the motorcycle down route 94.

Howard phoned police, and he was hoping that the cops would show up soon, because Howard said that there was no way he would have been able to keep up with the motorcycle.

The police eventually pursued the suspect, and the suspect eventually decided that it was a good idea to ditch the bike and run into an apartment building located nearby. Officers found the suspect, Mitchell Lautner, hiding in the apartment building’s laundry room. Lautner is now accused, and will more than likely be charged with possession of stolen property, as well as other felonies.

Nobody was killed during the pursuit, and nobody was injured.
