STRIKE Force Raptor officers have charged a high-ranking member of an outlaw motorcycle gang after investigations into an alleged road rage incident at Kingswood in February.
Police charged a man, 26, last Friday.
Police said the man was a high-ranking member of the Nomads.
He was charged with affray, armed with intent to commit indictable offence, use intimidation/violence to unlawfully influence and destroy or damage property.
The charges related to an alleged road rage incident on February 7 when a near-crash occurred on The Northern Road at Kingswood between a vehicle being driven by a man, 37, and a vehicle containing two men, including the 26-year-old.
Police said the latter vehicle overtook the other car and the 26-year-old struck it with a crowbar.
The 26-year-old man and his driver, who police said were both armed with weapons, then exited the car and allegedly threatened the 37-year-old before he fled in his vehicle.
