Australia - High ranking Bandido member arrested for firearm offences – Strike Force Raptor

Strike Force Raptor officers have arrested a high-ranking Outlaw Motorcycle Gang member, as well as an associate and a woman for alleged firearm and drug related offences.
About 7pm yesterday (Monday 28 February, 2011), Strike Force Raptor officers executed a search warrant at a residential premises at Daphne Place at Lalor Park.
During the warrant police located and seized a sawn off .22 calibre rifle, two firearm magazines, ammunition, a bullet resistant vest, a police uniform patch, a flick knife, a pair of stolen number plates, as well as Bandido clothing and paraphernalia.
A 52-year-old man, an alleged high-ranking member of the Bandido OMCG, was arrested at the scene and taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with possessing a shortened firearm/ammunition/police uniform/bullet resistant vest and goods in custody. He was conditionally bailed to appear at Blacktown Local Court on 21 April.
In a separate residence police located and seized an unlicensed .45 calibre semi automatic pistol, ammunition, a silencer, an unlicensed .45 lever action rifle, cannabis, and plants, four rifles.
A 45-year-old man, an alleged associate of the Bandido OMCG, was arrested at the scene and taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was charged with possessing an unlicensed pistol and possession of a prohibited drug. He was conditionally bailed to appear at Blacktown Local Court on 21 April 2011
A 34-year-old woman was also arrested at the scene. Police found she was in possession of substances, believed to be a prohibited drug. She was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with the possession and supply of a prohibited drug. She will appear in Blacktown Local Court on 21 April.
Strike Force Raptor was established by the State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad and is a proactive and high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and their alleged associated criminal enterprises.
