MORE than 450 Gypsy Joker members roared into Leppington to give life member Jesse Bartosik a fitting send off, before his funeral at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The large group of bikies, who were given a police esort to the funeral, met at the club house in Horsely Park and rode up the Horsely Drive and Cowpasture Rd to Leppington for the service.
More than 1000 people turned out to honour Mr Bartosik who died at the age of 63.
Club member Trevor said Mr Bartosik had been with the club for 42 years.
“He was a staunch and loyal member to the day until he passed away due to ill health,” Trevor said.
“He was one of the original members when the club started in 1969 and has been there for all those years. He was an old-school bikie.”
Trevor said mourners travelled from across the world to attend the funeral.
“There were hundreds Gypsy Joker members coming from all over the country and the world to farewell him. He will be sadly missed.”
