BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Bladen County Sheriff's Office Narcotic Division arrested five people earlier this month for running an unlicensed motorcycle club inside a house on Clyde Hatcher Road.
Agents with the Bladen County Sheriff's Office have been working on the case for the past two months. They say neighbors had complained about loud music, gang activity and fighting in the area.
Dwight Devane Smith was arrested for selling alcohol without a permit in the facility known as the "Black Hole" by those who go there a lot.
Police say the establishment turned into a haven for gang members and Smith appeared scared of what they could bring to his place, according to the police report.
According to Bladen's Sheriff, there were 34 people at the house when investigators entered. Sam Darphes Brown, Kenneth James Riddy, Tyrone Davis, and Anthony Wayne Cromartie were all arrested January 15 in connection to the club.
Investigators seized marijuana, firearms and a large amount of alcohol from the establishment.
