Two Lone Legion Motorcycle Club members and an associate have been arrested after a confrontation in Stuart St, Blenheim on Sunday.
Constable Michelle Stagg, of Blenheim, said a 38-year-old self-employed man, who was a gang member, was charged with unlawful assembly and being unlawfully on a property yesterday afternoon.
A 50-year-old male forestry worker and gang member and a 29-year-old male meat worker, a gang associate, were charged with unlawful assembly.
The men are scheduled to appear in the Blenheim District Court on Monday.
On Sunday, a resident in the area said a gang member attacked a neighbour across the road who had called noise control about loud music on Saturday night. The fight lasted several minutes, and the gang member "got a hiding and crawled back to where he came from", the resident said.
Police have said a warehouse at 14 Stuart St could be a new base for the gang. The old gang house, at 18 Gascoigne St, was demolished in 2007 after a murder.
