PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — A member of the Outlaws motorcycle gang who was present when federal agents raided a house and fatally shot another club member has pleaded guilty to a firearms charge.
U.S. Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II says 47-year-old Kenneth Chretien of Old Orchard Beach entered a guilty plea Thursday to possession of firearms by an unlawful user of a controlled substance. The charge carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Chretien was originally charged with interfering in the execution of a search warrant during a raid in which federal agents killed his brother-in-law, Thomas Mayne.

During the raid, police seized two guns and a bag of marijuana from Chretien's bedroom. Agents also found 29 marijuana plants on the property.
