Seven classes will soon be offered at Woodland Community College, education officials announced this week:
Motorcycle Safety Program - Basic Rider Course: Approved by the California Highway Patrol, this course is designed for beginning, inexperienced and experienced motorcyclists of all ages. It consists of five hours of classroom lecture on Friday evening, then ten hours of on-cycle instruction, Saturday and Sunday. Classes are offered most every weekend. For information, call 741-6825.
Make $3K - 6K per month in the Auto Wholesale Business: Make money buying and selling wholesale cars from home, or simply buy cars for your friends, family and pass the lower price to them. Those who complete the class will receive a DMV Certificate of Completion at the end of instruction. For information, call 741-6825.
Smog Technicians Update 2011: This is the last chance to take this course this year P-2011 Updating Training is required by B.A.R. for all Ea and EB licensing and renewals as of January 2011. Register early, enrollment is limited. For information, call 741-6825.
Food Safety Certification: This is a National Restaurant Association Designed course. Successful completion of this course meets the requirements of California Health & Safety code 113716. This comprehensive 8-hour course (including test) covers safe food handling practices and sanitation. Students must purchase the book ServSafe Essentials, 5th ed. before class. Be sure to bring to class a No. 2

Dialysis Technician: The need for Dialysis Technicians is constant. Yuba College Community Education is now accepting registration. This program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of a Dialysis Technician. Register early before classes fill. For information, call 741-6825.
Medical Billing and Coding Program: This field offers many opportunities for employment, in hospitals, clinics, private physicians - or from home. Yuba College Community Education is now accepting registrations for this class. For information, call 741-6825.
California Concealed Weapons Permit: California law requires that all applicants for concealed weapons permits attend a course of instruction from a certified instructor. Upon successful completion of this course, a certificate will be issued which can be presented to the sheriff's department of your county.
