Bikers to convene
The Windsor Star September 4, 2010 Hundreds of Hells Angels are expected to roll into town this weekend for the notorious motorcycle gang's annual party at its Windsor headquarters, and police will be there waiting.

The province's Biker Enforcement Unit along with other area police forces often block the north approach to the gang's Howard Avenue clubhouse, forcing the bikers to funnel through in one direction.

Officers then stop them and check their identification, photograph them and inspect their bikes for any infractions, such as handlebars that are too high.

The last few years have brought about 200 of the so-called outlaw bikers annually to the party. In 2006, as many as 500 bikers gathered in Windsor for the fifth anniversary of the Ontario chapters. Bikers from across Canada are known to attend the annual bash.
