Decade-long bikie war brewing From: The Advertiser

OFF THE WIRE
BIKIE expert Professor Arthur Veno says Adelaide is on the brink of a 10-year outlaw bikie club war.
Professor Veno's dire prediction comes after a drive-by shooting at the Andrews Farm home of a Hells Angels member this week.

The shooting was about a year after the same house was shot at by a member of the New Boys street gang and only a few days after the former Enfield house of the New Boys leader was damaged in an attack.

Police say the latest shootings are part of escalating violence between the two gangs which has seen members bombed, shot at and bashed.

In February, two Hells Angels were killed near the Enfield house when a bomb they were transporting accidentally blew up.

Professor Veno warns while "civilian casualties" have been few in the past, "collateral damage is about to blow up big time ... It's a declaration of war," he told Channel 10.
