Video: Comanchero confesses to airport bashing (7pm TV News NSW) Map: Sydney Airport 2020 A court has heard that a Comanchero bikie admitted to bashing a man to death in a brawl at Sydney Airport.

Anthony Zervas, 29, was killed at the airport in March 2009 during a fight between members of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club and their rivals the Comanchero.

At a committal hearing for ten Comanchero and three Hells Angel members, a witness known only as A.L. has told the court he saw Hells Angels president Derek Wainohu shoulder Comanchero boss Mick Hawi after both got off the same plane.

A.L. says Mick Hawi then punched Mr Wainohu in the face. The former nominee member says he then threw a second punch and Derek Wainohu fell to the ground.

A.L. has told the court he saw a man in a hooded jumper in front of a group of Hells Angels members, lunge at Hawi with a knife or scissors he pulled from his pocket.

He says after Mick Hawi was cut on the arm, the fight was on between the two rival clubs.

Later he said he saw the man lying on the ground and another Comanchero member standing over him and smashing him twice on the face and body with what he thought was a metal bin.

Afterwards the attacker allegedly said "I know I killed that person".

The hearing at Parramatta Local Court continues.
