Head of biker club faces methamphetamine charges

NY - LEROY-The president of a Gene-see County biker club is one of five suspects accused of involvement with a methamphetamine ring, the U. S. Attorney's Office said Monday.
Donald G. Vanelli II, 47, of Lake Street, and four other people were arrested Friday after an investigation by the FBI, state police, the U. S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the Genesee County Sheriff's Office and other agencies.

Prosecutors identified Vanelli as the president of the Road Agents Motorcycle Club. Also arrested on felony drug conspiracy charges were Donna

L. Boone, 44, and Andrew Chapman, 40, of Batavia; Kerry Ball, 51, of Basom; and David H. Cohen, 49, of Rochester.

In recent months, the investigation has resulted in the seizure of about 75 grams of methamphetamine, three firearms and $6,000 in cash, Assistant U. S. Attorney Brett A. Harvey said.
