Australia - A DARWIN bikie has pleaded guilty to bringing millions of dollars worth of drugs into the Territory.
Peter Reginald Blyss, 43, pleaded guilty in the NT Supreme Court yesterday to a string of charges covering three drug raids on his properties and accomplices.

The court heard that Blyss - who is a member of the Hells Angels - set up a shed at Winnellie to cater for his drug business, where he set up a security camera system.

Police raided the Winnellie property and his Herbert home in August, 2008 and found almost 400 ecstasy tablets, $35,000 cash and smaller quantities of methamphetamine - known as ice - and a quantity of cannabis.

Two days later police arrested a man and a woman who were delivering 10,000 ecstasy tablets, 24kg of cannabis and 656g methamphetamine from Adelaide.

The couple had driven to Darwin with the drugs wrapped as birthday presents and the court heard that Blyss was expecting to pay them $100,000 in cash, with which they would drive back to South Australia.

They were arrested with the drugs at a caravan park on August 3, two days after Blyss was arrested.

Prosecutor Mark Thomas said the drugs would have been worth up to more than $2.5 million in 2008 on the street in Darwin.

Blyss was remanded in custody until Wednesday.
