A federal magistrate on Monday set $10,000 unsecured bond for an Old Orchard Beach man who was arrested last week in a deadly raid.

Kenneth Chretien, who was arrested on June 15 on charges of forcibly resisting and interfering with the execution of a search warrant, waived his right to a probable caused hearing.

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and Explosives went to 5 Sandy Circle to arrest Chretien's brother-in-law, Thomas Mayne, as part of a crackdown on alleged illegal activity by the Outlaws Motorcycle Gang.

Mayne was killed in a shootout with ATF agents.

Chretien's bail conditions also include no out-of-state travel, no contact with any victims or witnesses to the raid or any contact with member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Gang.

Prosecutors and Chretien's lawyer agreed to meet to see if arrangements could be made for Chretien to attend Mayne's funeral, scheduled for Saturday in Old Orchard Beach.
