NC Cops can stick it!

This country has gone to hell in a handbasket. As has happened in other states, NC cops are forcibly drawing blood without a warrant, and NC appeals court judges don't see it as a violation of our rights, if there is suspicion and exigent circumstances.

OFF THE WIRE
NC v. Mark Fletcher
http://www.aoc.state.nc.us/www/public/coa/opinions/2010/pdf/090926-1.pdf

During a checkpoint in Moore County in June, 2008, Officer Carrie Powers, Pinehurst PD, suspected Mark Fletcher of DWI. She brought him to the emergency room at Moore Regional Hospital where hospital workers drew a blood sample by force. Fletchers blood alcohol level was determined to be 0.10.

In January 2010, NC court of appeals Judges Jackson, Hunter and Bryant, sided with the cop, due to her belief that the magistrate’s office in Carthage would be too busy to issue the warrant before the defendents BAC level reduced to legal levels.

So, let me see if I have this straight.... If it comes down to the Bill of Rights or securing evidence, the cops and judicial system can stick it?
