The members of the Warrior Brotherhood Veterans Motorcycle Club collected money, toiletries, phone cards and stuffed bunnies at the Wal-Mart in Carlisle Saturday.

The event was a part of the group’s “Buck on a Bike” fundraiser, which collects items to donate to veterans at the VA Hospital in Lebanon. The group asks that people donate toiletries, such as toothbrushes and flip flops, which are not given to the veterans at the hospital.

The motorcycle club also collected stuffed animals – primarily bunnies – in preparation for its annual Bunny Run, where members deliver stuffed animals to hospitalized children across the region with some help from other motorcycle clubs and riders as well as from police escorts.

The club will be visiting Harrisburg hospitals as well as Carlisle Regional Medical Center on Saturday, April 3.
