Germany - ~Germany goes full throttle against biker gangs after cop killing~
BERLIN: A police officer was allegedly killed by a member of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang during a house search in central Germany, officials said.

The prosecutor's office in Koblenz said in a statement on Wednesday that a 43-year-old member of the Hells Angels shot twice at a police officer who tried to open the suspect's apartment door during a raid related to prostitution in the city of Anhausen.

The 42-year-old officer died from internal bleeding and the suspect was arrested.

In recent weeks across Germany, police have been cracking down on illegal activities they say motorcycle gangs like the Hells Angels and Bandidos have been involved in.
