Netherlands - The court of appeal in Amsterdam has ordered the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club to abandon most of its territory in the city by 25 June.
The Amsterdam city council is the owner of the land – situated along the Weesper Canal in the south east of the city – and wants to redevelop it with new housing. The Hells Angels have occupied the site for the last 36 years. Now they have been ordered to leave, the city council must compensate them for the construction of a new clubhouse.
