West Springfield, MA
The Springfield Motorcycle Show will be roaring back January 18-20, at the Eastern States Exposition, West Springfield, MA.
This Eighth  Annual all-brand  motorcycle show brings future riders and the entrenched biker to this top event .
Once again the Springfield Motorcycle Show is proving it deserves the respect of the Northeast’s motorcycle community as the best motorcycle event of the winter season.
This event brings together the greatest machines, builders, stars and ‘gear’ retailers that can be found, the fun and enjoyment is suitable for just about everyone.
This year the Springfield Motorcycle Show is very proud to bring the man who is credited with starting the whole ‘custom motorcycle’ phenomenon Master Builder Ron Finch! Known by many titles like: “The Legend”, ‘Motorcity Magician”, “King of Customs” and “Michigan’s Mysterious Motorcycle Madman”, Ron Finch has been building custom motorcycles since 1965. He opened Finch’s Custom Styled Cycles forty years ago and since he has been devoted to designing, building, and painting customs in his own unique style!
Finch has a distinctive gift for metal fabrication and engineering.  In his desire to accentuate the magnificence of the motor, he has been known to relocate the gas tank to the rear fender, the saddlebags, or even the floorboards!  Many of his creations include smooth sculpting of the sheet metal and intricate rod work.
Ron continues his expression of art in his world renowned mastery of paint.  His custom motorcycles have been featured in hundreds of magazines, numerous art museums, and in shows throughout the U.S.A. and abroad.
The focus of Ron Finch has always come from the perspective of “Art in Motion”. His ability to fuse together artistic design, brilliant paint, and functionality establishes him as one of the premiere builders of our time.
The success of the first “Northeast Best of The Best Build-Off” has launched this great ‘on-site’ competition into its second dynamic year.  Four teams of the Northeast pit their building prowess against each other in a three-day ‘ground-up’ custom motorcycle build. This action-packed ‘wrench-fest’ is sponsored by the law agency of Trantolo & Trantolo.
Meet the builders; “White Knuckle Kustoms”, Windham, ME, “Vintage Custom Cycles”, Sandown, NH, Barnstorm Cycles”, Spencer, MA and FTF Cycles”, Randolph, MA.
