The Last American Outlaw

OFF THE WIRE
agingrebel.com
The Aging Rebel mentioned Nick Mead’s documentary The Last American Outlaw in an article last month about George Christie’s federal racketeering case. If you missed that article you can read it here.
Mead is still editing the final cut of the film but he finished the first trailer two days ago. If you are not familiar with Mead’s work the trailer reveals a little about Mead’s sentiments and artistic style.
If you are biker you might want to turn it up. Then let it run.
Even federal prosecutors and agents are sure to notice already that they will not be the heroes of this film. And, they may take comfort that The Last American Outlaw is not being produced for Discovery. So it will be probably go unnoticed by the sophisticated viewers who are sure to adore the forthcoming documentaries Discovery has commissioned in the last two months about the Mongols (from the Australian company Beyond Productions) and “the murder of Cynthia Garcia and its link to Operation Black Biscuit (from Lion Television U.S.)” Mead’s film is more likely to find its audience among the unimportant rubes who will see it in little hick towns like Park City, Telluride, Venice and Cannes.
