The Supreme Court in Launceston has heard a man sold drugs to the Rebels motorcycle club to supplement his disability pension.
Barry William James Gleeson has admitting trafficking 57 ounces of methylamphetamine or 'ice' but said he was merely a courier.
The 59-year-old told the court the methylamphetamine was deposited in bushland, where Gleeson collected it and sold it to an associate in the Rebels Motorcycle Club.
He also admitted selling 300 morphine tablets on behalf of his sister.
The court heard the drugs had a combined potential street value of almost $800,000.
But Gleeson's lawyer Adrian Hall denied his client profited from the illicit sales.
Mr Hall said Gleeson handed all the proceeds to his suppliers and only took a small cut which he used to supplement his disability pension.
Gleeson is one of 12 people associated with the Rebels motorcycle club arrested during a police raid last August.
He will be sentenced later this month.
