CANADA - One strip club and two massage parlors suspiciously catch fire...

OFF THE WIRE
London police and the Ontario Fire Marshall are investigating suspicious fires at three adult establishments in the city’s east end with at least one of the buildings having a connection to the Hells Angels.
The Famous Flesh Gordon’s strip club, owned by London Hells Angels member Rob Barletta, caught fire Sunday along with two massage parlors, all within 35 minutes of each other.
Police haven’t determined the cause of the fires and won’t confirm or deny if the adult massage parlors have any ties to the Hells Angels as well.
“We are currently investigating the incidents and we are still in the preliminary stages,” said Const. Amanda Van Doren.
The first fire started at the Blue Lagoon massage parlor at the corner of Oxford and Empire streets, around 4:40 a.m., with the blaze causing $10,000 worth of damage to the five-store plaza.
“There was a lot heavy smoke, but I couldn’t see any flames,” said a neighbour to the incident, who went out to check on the fire to make sure it wouldn’t spread to his home.
Most of the damage gutted Blue Lagoon and Stephanie’s Nails at the west end of the plaza, but Maple Leaf Variety, Old Tyme Diner and a laundromat remained closed and blocked off by police tape on Sunday.
Emergency crews had to quickly scramble about 25 minutes later, at 5:04 a.m., to put out a second fire at the Famous Flesh Gordon’s strip club, at the corner of Dundas and Industrial streets.
Fire officials haven’t said how much damage was caused to the strip club by the blaze, but on the outside of the building only a wooden fence blocking the patio area of the bar was marked black from the fire.
Police tape guarded the entrance to Flesh Gordon’s and a neighbouring variety store, but another adult massage parlor and bakery in the same plaza remained open Sunday.
“Generally, we have zero issues around here,” said a nearby storeowner who wanted to stay anonymous.
He said police have been going around to businesses in the area and asking to check tapes from surveillance cameras.
“It looks suspicious,” he added, about the three fires in such a close time range.
Police responded to the third fire at Virginia’s Adult Massage and Spa, in a plaza at Clarke and Charterhouse streets, around 5:15 a.m.
Damage in the third fire hasn’t been estimated yet, but the only evidence of any incident outside of the massage parlor is a large hole through one of the glass windows.
Despite at least one of the properties having ties to the Hells Angels, police have not said if there’s a connection between the fires and any motorcycle gxxgs.
In November, more than 100 people attended a Hells Angels party on Grey Street.
