AUSTRALIA - Man arrested over Sans Souci slaying

OFF THE WIRE
A man will be extradited from Western Australia over the fatal shooting of Neal Todorovski in south Sydney last week .
Todorovski, 37, suffered a gunshot to the head on January 4 when he and two fellow Lone Wolf bikie members allegedly fought with an unknown man outside Todorovski's Sans Souci unit.
Earlier this week, Strike Force Lobbe identified a suspect believed to have fled to WA.
Police were granted arrest warrants for the offences of murder and attempted murder.
About 4pm (AEDT) on Thursday, a 25-year-old Maroubra man was arrested by WA Police at Sorrento. He was taken to the Major Crime Squad where he was charged.
He was refused bail to face Perth Magistrates Court on Friday.
Strike Force Lobbe detectives will travel to WA to seek the man's extradition to Sydney.
Police say Todorovski, John Haper (Haper) Leger, 32, and Matthew Edward Lewis, 23, had armed themselves with a .22 calibre handgun, knuckledusters and a 30cm kitchen knife respectively before they approached the man.
Leger and Lewis began assaulting him before he managed to break free and scramble for his own weapon inside a nearby black Land Rover, police allege.
He then fired a number of shots, killing the victim.
The armed man fled the area in a four-wheel drive.
Leger and Lewis were charged with affray and concealing a serious indictable offence after they refused to co-operate with police.
Police also charged Leger with possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit.
The pair failed in their application for bail in Sydney's Central Local Court on Thursday.
A police statement of facts alleged Leger and Lewis ran away before the man chased Leger and fired another five shots before fleeing the scene.
Leger, Lewis and Todorovski's partner were standing over his lifeless body when police arrived.
"I'm not telling youse (sic) nothing," police allege Lewis said.
Leger said something similar before they were charged, police say.
They are scheduled to appear in the same court on January 19.
