Arkansas Abate has been around for over 25 years one of the biggest victories was in 97 working to get the helmet law repealed. But the fight is never ending just like last year some idiot state legislator came up with a brilliant idea and filed a bill to make you have to have passed a safety course to ride your motorcycle. Well nothing wrong with taking a safety course except there are only 3 or 4 msf course locations offered in Arkansas each location can do about7-10 folks a weekend. The bill did not make funds available to set up more courses. And of course was fought and defeated with the help of Abate. So imagine having be on a waiting list to be able to ride it could have took several years to get to even take a course. Without ABATE fighting for the rights of the riders that don't care about abate, riders especially in liberal states will be wearing full body armor and you wont even realize it happened.
