OFF THE WIRE
After the arrests of four rockers the Mongols is the police believe that the found pipe bombs to be used against the rival Hells Angels.
Grandly announced they had to make by force the Hells Angels to the area in dispute. Now most of the group behind bars. After the raid the Mongols MC judge ordered the detention on Thursday for four rockers in age from 25 to 36 years detention. They should have blackmailed a 45-year-olds. Other arrest warrants are to follow. The accusations weigh heavily: extortion, criminal association, aggravated robbery and violations of firearms and explosives laws. As previously reported, had 120 police officers on Wednesday morning, supported by a special task force, eleven Rocker apartments in Reinickendorf, Charlottenburg, Spandau, Brandenburg stormed.
Nine members were arrested. With the seized knives and batons, the forces had expected. But the found explosives and two homemade pipe bombs in the apartment of a 33-year-olds in Reinickendorf even experienced investigators by surprise. The police assume that the bombs should be used in an attack against the Hells Angels.
The evaluation of the evidence seized by the agency responsible for gang crime division 4 of the state criminal office lasted all night. So far, the Mongols were particularly noticed in Bremen. A few months ago they came to the capital. Only two weeks ago, the Mongols, a third chapter in southern Germany have opened up.
In the U.S., the Mongols are one of the most brutal rockers associations
"This is the purest kindergarten," said former Mongols president Bernhard Denzinger the Tagesspiegel. Four months ago, he has turned away disappointed from the group. "None of them had a motorcycle, and they have always done just nonsense and stress." The members' habits, which are normally to be earned over the years has been recently distributed "as in the old clothes." With what is meant by Denzinger rock experience that had nothing to do. The declaration of war on the Mongols of the Berlin Rocker competition he considers brazen and dangerous. "How much intelligence someone who challenges the Hells Angels, have thousands of members in Germany?" He asks. He estimates that there are the Mongols, Germany is only a few months.
In the United States is the nation's Mongols Motorcycle Club - founded in 1969 by Vietnam Veterans of Hispanic origin - as one of the most brutal rockers associations. "Even the Hells Angels fear the Mongols," said Stephen K. Martin, head of department, said at the U.S. Federal ATF, in October at the annual fall meeting of the Federal Criminal Office. The Mongols tortured their opponents, even murders were blamed on the Rocker club. In addition, the rocker had to do to the Mexican drug mafia and street gangs of young Latinos in Los Angeles, said Martin. From the bonds of the Mongols had recruited many members. According to Martin, there are currently 56 chapter of the Mongols in the U.S.. The U.S. authorities say up to 850 Mongols in the country, including 600 in California.
In front of the house of a chief of the Mongols detonated three explosive devices
The U.S. Justice Department called the Mongols on his website, "an extremely violent, lawless motorcycle gang." In the 1980s, the rock club in Southern California have displaced the Hells Angels. Currently, the Mongols were allied with the Bandidos and other rockers associations that occur as all enemies of the Hells Angels. 2008 alleged Mongol shot in San Francisco the "president" of the regional chapter of the Hells Angels, Mark "Papa" Guardado. Police used a bounty of five million dollars from the perpetrators. The alleged shooter then stood, but he denied having killed Guardado. In revenge for the death of their leader, the Hells Angels were in front of the house of a chief of the Mongols exploded three bombs.
The U.S. authorities have infiltrated the Mongols repeatedly with undercover agents. The most spectacular case is that of ATF officer William Queen, who rose under the pseudonym "Billy St. John" with the Mongols to the Treasurer. Based on the evidence gathered by Queen in April 2000 a total of 54 Mongols were arrested.
