LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The House has passed a bill that would require motorcycles in Arkansas to have turn signals.
Bill sponsor Rep. John Catlett of Rover said Wednesday that he saw numerous motorcycle accidents in his 30 years as a law officer that could have been prevented by use of turn signals.

The bill passed on a 72-12 vote and now goes to the Senate.

The bill exempts bikes manufactured before 1974
