Sting nets arrest of Oklahoma City man on drug, gun complaints

OFF THE WIRE
An Oklahoma City man was arrested on drug and stolen property complaints as part of a sting operation by state agents.
Michael Allen Gardner, 46, was arrested Saturday and booked into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of receiving stolen property, maintaining a drug house, possession of a sawed-off shotgun and using surveillance equipment during the commission of a felony.
Gardner was arrested by Oklahoma City police during a traffic stop and initially taken into custody for driving with a suspended license. In the meantime, agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation were executing a search warrant at his home at 3306 S Quapah, said Jessica Brown, spokeswoman for the OSBI.
Brown said the agency's intelligence unit has had an active case against Gardner for some time. She said Gardner is a member of the Rogue Motorcycle Club. She said there are reports that he is the national leader of the club, but agents are still working to confirm that.
Along with stolen firearms, agents found biker paraphernalia and a large amount of information about the motorcycle club, authorities said.
