Gonzales, La. — The four members of the Bandido gang on trial for involvement in a fight and shooting at Fred’s on the River in Port Vincent early last year pleaded guilty to lesser charges Wednesday in 23rd Judicial Court in Gonzales.

Joe Louis Flores, the reputed leader of the motorcycle gang, who was charged with shooting former gang member Steven Hoff during the brawl, pleaded guilty to reduced charges of attempted manslaughter and two counts of second-degree battery. Sentencing was deferred by Judge Ralph Tureau.
Jose Felisano Flores, the brother of Joe Louis, pleaded guilty to six misdemeanor charges.
Chester Hunnicutt of Prairieville and Derrick Johnson of Walker received suspended prison sentences, after pleading guilty to being an accessory after the fact on the battery charge.
They will be under probation and have to pay restitution to Hoff and his friend Brian McDonald who aided him in the bar fight.
The original nine-count indictment for the four defendants included felony second-degree murder charges.
