Today Mary Flowers held her 3 bills back from both committees. They were not killed and are very much alive but it is very unlikely that she is going anywhere with them.
HB0292 is too expensive and foolish and we have too many friends on both those committees to let them go through.
We had members from Will County, St. Clair County, Central County, and Lincoln Land Chaapter present and I want to thank them for coming to the "Dome". It wasn't a waist of time as members went to see their own legislators and dropped in on newly elected State Treasuer (and friend of ABATE) Dan Rutherford and said hi and then also went to thank State Senator Larry Bomke.
Coming to the "Dome" is only a waiste of time if you choose to waiste it.
Make plans to attend Legislative Day, March 2 at the State House Inn.
