RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The racketeering trial of 5 motorcycle gang members has been interrupted by a fire alarm at the federal courthouse in Richmond.
The courthouse was evacuated Thursday morning, and a half-dozen fire trucks responded. Lt. Shawn Jones with the Richmond Fire Department says the department had received a report that water was flowing from the sprinkler system in a stairwell but firefighters found nothing. He said there was no fire in the building.
The alarm sounded as federal agent Jeffrey Grabman was testifying about infiltrating the Outlaws motorcycle gang. On trial are Outlaws national president Jack Rosga of Milwaukee and four other former or current biker gang members. This is the second trial for Rosga, whose first trial ended with a deadlocked jury last month
