Gang leader "Gorilla" caught at mom's house....

OFF THE WIRE
WOODBURY, N.J. - December 17, 2010 (WPVI) -- The former leader of a notorious biker gang appeared in court this morning in Gloucester County.
Steven "Gorilla" Mondevergine faces attempted murder charges in Philadelphia for shooting the former Pagan's Motorcycle Club president back in 2008.
Mondevergine reportedly shot his rival, Timothy "Casual" Flood, in the knee and stabbing him in the back on January 30, 2008, in Northeast Philadelphia because he wanted his job as president of the club back.
Investigators found Mondevergine this week hiding in his mother's house in New Jersey.
In court, Mondevergine said he would not fight extradition back to Philly. He is expected back in the city in about 10 days.
Mondevergine is a former Philadelphia police officer who was fired in 1982, after three years on the job, for allegedly accepting bribes to protect an illegal gambling operation. He adamantly denied the charges, which were later dropped.
