Joseph Bruce Skreptak, a Kelowna member of the Hells Angels, allegedly broke into a house on Froelich Road in Rutland on November 1st and assaulted a father and son.
A Kelowna member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club has had yet another brush with the law.
Joseph Bruce Skreptak, 43, allegedly broke into a house on Froelich Road in Rutland on November 1st and assaulted a father and son.
The father had to be treated at the hospital; the son was not as badly hurt.
Constable Steve Holmes with the Kelowna RCMP says Skreptak was charged with break and enter with intent, aggravated assault, assault and uttering threats.
Police are not releasing any other details related to the case or to Skreptak’s alleged involvement in the incident.
Two weeks ago, Skreptak was one of four men in a speeding vehicle pulled over by police near Salmon Arm; RCMP found an arsenal of weapons inside the vehicle.
Skreptak and the three other men, who are also associated with the Hells Angels, face a long list of charges in connection with the seizure of guns, ammunition, knives, clubs and bear spray.
In 2005, Kelowna RCMP busted a marijuana grow-operation in a home owned by Skreptak; the biker said the dope belonged to his tenants and he was never charged.
Skreptak helped create the Kelowna chapter of the Hells Angels in 2007.
He is currently being held in-custody pending bail hearings for charges in both the Salmon Arm and Kelowna investigations.
