Motorcycle Club faces Criminal Recruitment Charges! We need help!

OFF THE WIRE

Idaho - ello, my name is Brianna, and I am the ol' lady of one of the Sandpoint Hermanos. On October 4th at 7 am (my 25th birthday!), the Bonner County Sheriff's Department performed a simultaneous raid on all members homes. They brought urban assault vehicles, tanks, SWAT teams, shot our our windows with stun grenades, and tore our homes apart looking for any evidence of criminal activity.
desecrated a child's remains, handcuffed a 12 year old boy, and threw him in the back of a cop car. They found no evidence of ANY criminal activity (as we are all upstanding citizens). They proceeded to illegally seize our weapons and all paperwork related to motorcycle ownership. Now all of the Hermanos are facing felony charges for "recruiting criminal gang members". They held our boys for $100,000 bonds. That same week, a woman with manslaughter charges was held for $10,000. You know as well as I do that profiling bikers is nothing new to this country! This is not an outlaw club, and these men have committed no crime. I have a petition circulating online to try and get the ACLU of Idaho to help out on this one. The petition can be found at:

http://www.petitiononline.com/hermanos/petition.html

Furthermore, the law they are using to prosecute the men (Idaho Statute 18-85) has been in appeals as long as it's been a law, because it directly violates our constitutional rights to freedom of speech, expression, and assembly. They even told the papers "We just don't want to Hermanos to have a toehold in our community." Disgusting. I am trying to rally as much support as I can for these men. Crooked cops are synonymous with Bonner County, and without community support, we can all kiss our husbands goodbye.

These are good men with families, jobs, military retirements, and their freedoms at stake. If you can think of anything to help raise awareness about this injustice, please get back to me.

We are trying as hard as we can to get out petition for the ACLU as much publicity as possible. If you could please post a link to it on your site, it could greatly improve our chances of getting enough signatures. If they can press these bullshit charges, then we all can be prosecuted for believing in our rights. Thank you for your time! Brianna Jean, Proud Hermano Ol' Lady PS: The crap articles published by the papers can be found by googling "Sandpoint Hermanos". Thanks again!
