NINETY-TWO vehicles, most of them motorbikes, were stopped by police at Halfway Creek on Friday night as Operation Black Widow, an ongoing operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs (OMCGs), came into effect.

Three alleged gang members were arrested on drink driving offences after 52 people were breath tested. In addition, eight defect notices were issued.

“OMCGs who may be involved in any criminal activity will be continually targeted,” said Grafton police commander Inspector Murray Gillett. “Investigations are continuing.”
