A 59-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in Blacktown Court charged with the alleged disappearance of high-ranking outlaw Riverstone Nomads motorcycle gang member Neil Green.
The man was one of three arrested in two simultaneous raids last Tuesday.
About 6.30am Gang Squad detectives assisted by the Tactical Operations Unit arrested the men at a Rhodes unit and an industrial premises at Girraween.
Their arrests follows a six month investigation into the alleged disappearance of Mr Green, who detectives believe met with foul play back in April.
The 59-year-old was arrested in Girraween and later charged at Blacktown with accessory after the fact to murder and accessory after the fact to attempted murder.
The second charge relates to the attempted murder of another man the day of Mr Green’s disappearance on April 16.
The man was refused bail to appear at Penrith Court on January 28, 2011.
Meanwhile two men aged 32 and 24 were arrested at the Rhodes unit and charged to Campsie Police Station.
All three men are from Girraween.
At Burwood Court on Tuesday the 32-year-old was charged with one count of murder and another of attempted murder.
He was refused bail.
The 24-year-old was charged with concealment of an indictable offence but was granted conditional bail to reappear at Burwood Court on December 16.
On Tuesday warrants were also executed by police at both the Rhodes and Girraween addresses, where detectives have scoured for evidence.
Their arrests relate to investigations under Strike Force Devine, which was set up to look at Mr Green’s disappearance more than a month after he was last seen.
Neil Green, 36, was a sergeant in arms of the Riverstone Nomads motorcycle gang.
He was last seen with a second man driving a 2002 model blue Ford Laser sedan to a Wiltona Pl address in Girraween.
Witnesses alleged shortly after Mr Green arrived an argument broke out followed by several gun shots.
At the scene of the shoot out police uncovered a large amount of forensic material, including five firearms.
Detectives are convinced Mr Green was murdered.
Investigations continue.
