ONSLOW — RCMP say they've found something at a property in Onslow that will further their investigation into the disappearance of a former Hells Angel.

Sgt. Brigdit Leger says she can't go into detail because the case is ongoing.

Police spent eight days on the property looking for clues that may help explain Randy Mersereau's disappearance almost 11 years ago.

Mersereau was 48 years old when he was last seen on Oct. 31, 1999, about six weeks after he escaped a bomb blast at a local car dealership that injured seven other people.

He was acquitted of first-degree murder charges in the mid-1980 slayings of five members of a Quebec chapter of the club.
