BOISE -- The Mountain Home chapter of the Idaho Motorcycle Club roared into town Saturday with a truckload of donations for the Idaho Ronald McDonald House.

For more than two months, the Mountain Home chapter and its 50 members have been busy.

Their goal was to fill a 17-foot moving truck full of donations and gift cards and deliver them to the Ronald McDonald House the day before Mother's Day.

The group began their efforts after two of their members were guests at the Ronald McDonald House in Boise.

"We understood they had a need for some things, so we started doing some charity rides and charity drives for the Ronald McDonald House for guys just like him and their parents,” said one of the club members.

Families stay at the Ronald McDonald House to be close to the hospital when they have an ill child receiving treatment at any Boise medical facility.
