John Del Santo to ABATE,Screwdriver

The Motorcycle Awareness Month kick-off meeting for Southern CA happened Tuesday at the Border Division CHP office. Motorcycle Awareness PSA's have been shown in movie theatres and on TV. The messages have been shown on the Electronic Message Boards along the highways through the state for about a week, and should be shown for another week in June. ABATE is discussing getting the boards to carry our message for one or two days each month. There are mc awareness flyers and handouts available from the CHP, MSF, and ABATE. Attending this Opening Ceremony were members of the CHP, CMSP, MSF, Chief of the San Diego Police Dept, the Sheriff's Dept, Douglas Findlay of ABATE local 11, and ABATE Safety Officer John Del Santo.
