Bikers Against Discrimination - B.A.D. Alert - Port Jefferson Banning Bikers

As an American taxpayer, and supporter of American owned businesses, I am
offended by the UnAmerican and illegal proposal by the Port Jefferson
Business Improvement District which encourages and promotes discrimination
and I am therefore sending this notice to the 2010 B.I.D Directors:

In the March 2010 edition of the BID newsletter you offer "Food for
Thought"...(a copy of which is attached) to be considered at your "Closed"
upcoming meeting on April 6, 2010 at 7:00PM.

Two (2) of the several topics you offer up as "Food for Thought" are:

1. "No motorcycles"

2. "No unsightly presence of motorcyclists"


Whom ever gave birth to these two discrimination based sections of your
"Food for Thought" talking points has clearly never heard of the
Constitution of these United States which in part states:

Amendment XIV, section 1.

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the
jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State
wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall
abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor
shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without
due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the
equal protection of the laws."

I submit to you that the State of New York does not have the authority to
"deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the
laws." So how does the Port Jefferson Improvement District believe you
have the power and authority to do so?

By and through this communication, I am placing the Port Jefferson
Business District on notice that should your organization implement this
discriminatory ban on Americans who choose to ride a motorcycle: I will
file litigation in the United States District Court to stop your actions
and seek redress.

If you want to live in the Soviet Union: MOVE THERE!
