A convoluted explanation of what is currently happening re: Gulf Coast Chapter and the State

Gulf Coast Chapter ABATE of Florida responds re Docs "assault" on a member
And once again Doc has no opponent in the upcoming election. Is it possible for a whole organization have "borderline Personality Disorder"? I know I for one am experiencing a great deal of "cognitive dissonance".

We received this as a comment. As we stated in our postCOMMENTS on ABATE of FLorida and President/Lobbyist James Doc Reichenbach

Our comments section is not working properly so we have been adding the full comments as we get them. Following is From Gulf Coast Chapter re the incident that we summarized from the document
posted here by Mike "Radar" Price former legislative representative for ABATE of Florida. We stand
by our summation of the Document. We Checked this link to insure it works and it does. To insure it does we just pulled all the links from the page and post them here. The bottom link is the one for Gulf Coasts Request for Resignation.

Why did you resign? Why Resign
What did your intent letter say?
It caused the VP and Pres to resign as well. Resignation Letters
Was there an actual report given to the Board? Report
Was there an "official" emergency meeting on April 1st? Emergency Meetings
Why do board members (and members) simply leave and no longer participate in the organization? Sick and Tired
What really happened to the Stiffer Penalties Bill? 968 Shutdown
How much does Tallahassee know? Replacement Yet
Incident Report and Request for President to Resign
filed by Gulf Coast Chapter March 9th, 2010 FILE

Comments from Satch Gulf Coast President. While there was an incident and some of what is written in your post is true, your summation is inaccurate. To fully understand the events of the incident you must read the entire complaint. Since the filing of our complaint the State Board conducted an investigation and declined our request and responded unanimously in support of Doc. At our monthly membership meeting it was presented to our membership that the Chapter Board had filed an incident report and voted unanimously to send it to the State Board. Our Chapter By LAws allow this. There was no dissent on this issue from the Chapter members present. We then asked for a motion to proceed with our request to address the delegation in April at the State meeting to request the resignation. After much passionate discussion and the disclosure of all facts known to our Chapter investigation and testimony from the members knowledgeable or involved in the incident, the State Vice President was given the floor and reiterated that the State Board had denied our complaint and request. However, after more testimony and a lot of information given to him that he was not aware of, he asked for the ability to conduct a mediation panel and further investigation. A vote was called for on the motion to address the delegation and ask for the resignation of the State President. The vote was 42 in favor, 15 opposed and 2 abstained. There were 76 members present. 17 did not vote. Even though there was a clear 2/3 majority of those that voted required to pass the motion, our Chapter by laws require 2/3 majority of members present to pass a motion to remove an officer. The motion fell 2 votes short. Immediately a motion was made and seconded to form a mediation panel with the State Vice President to further investigate the incident and come up with a solution satisfactory to all. We have removed, in writing, the verbiage requesting the immediate resignation of the State President. However, our complaint remains intact minus that verbiage. The State Board's investigation that denied our request was incomplete and one sided. However, we have faith in the State Vice President to conduct a more thorough investigation and a two sided mediation panel.
ABATE of Florida, Inc is a great organization that has accomplished a lot over the years. However, it is my contention that no one man stands above the Corporation or our CAUSE. As President of the Gulf Coast Chapter I will always stand for the protection of any of my members or members of the corporation against any injustice. The Gulf Coast Chapter fully supports ABATE of Florida,Inc and the State Board as a whole.
