FairTax Presents Second Freedom Ride - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OFF THE WIRE
FairTax Supporters to Ride & Rally
At Bike Week 2010
Daytona Beach, FL – FairTax supporters all over Central Florida are planning the 2nd Freedom Ride this Bike Week. Biketoberfest 2009 hosted the First FairTax Freedom Ride where dozens of motorcycle enthusiasts strapped FairTax flags to their bikes and rode north to the White Eagle for an all-day FairTax Rally.
The 2010 Bike Week Freedom Ride starts again at City Island in Daytona Beach on February 27. Riders will leave at noon and head to the Fairgrounds in West Volusia County.
“We’re doing this ride a bit different from Biketoberfest. Instead of hosting a FairTax Rally after the ride, we are bringing FairTax to the Freedom Rally. FairTax supporters know what a benefit FairTax will be on the American economy and the political landscape.” Says Kristina Bouterse, FairTax East Volusia Volunteer Coordinator. “It’s vital that we get out the information and insist that any candidate who wants our support must support FairTax, as written.”
FairTax is a national movement to replace the current income tax system. Rather than paying taxes on what is earned or invested, taxes are paid one time, at the retail level, when a new item or service is purchased. Taxation will become transparent and fair, resulting in a more prosperous economic environment.
The Freedom Rally is a family-friendly event including music, food and presentations. Admission is $5.00. FairTax gear available on-site. www.BikeWeekFreedomRally.com
